This is a courtesy translation. Because Trima is a Colombian company governed by Colombian law, the Spanish version prevails in case of any discrepancy.

At Trima, we respect your privacy. Here we explain what personal data we collect when you visit this site or work with us, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights.

1.Data controller

2.What data we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification and contact: name, email address, phone number, company and job title.
  • Information about your operation: the processes, systems and software licenses you use, your needs and the regulatory requirements you must meet, when you share them with us during the discovery call or a project.
  • Billing and payments: the data needed to invoice and receive payments when you hire a service.
  • Browsing: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.

We collect it when you write to us (for example, to book a discovery call), during calls and meetings, when you hire our services or when you browse this site. We do not request sensitive data, and this site is not directed at minors.

3.Your customers’ and users’ data within a project

When we build or maintain software for your company, we may have access to personal data of your customers, employees or users. In that case, your company is the data controller and Trima acts as the data processor: we use that data only to carry out the project, following your instructions and our contractual agreement, and never for any other purpose.

4.How we use your data

  • To reply to your messages and schedule the discovery call.
  • To understand your case and prepare prototypes and proposals.
  • To build, test, document and deliver the software you hire, and to support and maintain it.
  • To manage the business relationship, billing and payments.
  • To send you information about our services, if you authorize it. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To improve this site and our services.
  • To comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

We process your data based on your consent, the performance of a contract or compliance with a legal obligation, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing regulations.

5.Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We only share what is necessary with:

  • Execution partners that build projects with us: Felikis, SI Soluções Digitais and Vecteris Solutions, based in Brazil. We work with them under confidentiality agreements.
  • Technology providers for hosting, cloud, email, development and artificial intelligence.
  • Authorities, when required by law.

All of them must use the data only for the purpose we provided it for and protect it with appropriate measures.

6.Use of artificial intelligence

We use artificial intelligence tools to speed up development, document processes and generate analyses. When these tools process information from your project, we choose providers with contractual confidentiality commitments and, whenever possible, settings under which your data is not used to train their models.

A member of our team always reviews the results before delivering them.

7.International data transfers

Some of our providers and partners operate outside Colombia (for example, our execution partners in Brazil), so certain data may be stored or processed in other countries. In those cases, we take measures to ensure an adequate level of protection, in accordance with Article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012.

8.Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand statistically how it is used and to improve it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

9.Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes described, for the duration of the business relationship and for the periods required by law (for example, for accounting and tax purposes). After that, we delete or anonymize it.

10.Your rights

As the owner of your data, you can:

  • Access, update and correct your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
  • Know how we have used your data.
  • Revoke your authorization or ask us to delete your data, unless there is a legal or contractual duty to keep it.
  • Access your personal data free of charge.
  • File complaints with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

11.How to exercise your rights

Write to info@trima.cloud with the subject “Data protection”. Include your name, your request and a way to contact you.

We answer inquiries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, extendable in the cases provided by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will publish any change on this page with its update date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you through the contact details we have.
